Taking a look into the Toddler Room

The toddlers are very busy in their room on a daily basis between circle time, activities, dancing, outdoor play and using their imagination when playing. So what do the toddlers get up to when their Mommies and Daddies are not around? The toddlers enjoy using their imagination and they also look out for each other. In the last few days we have noticed more and more butterflies joining us with our summer crafts. This week the Montessori class at Crawford Childcare Creche, Glanmire painted their face and flapped their wings and enjoyed playing with our new butterfly friends. During the year we looked at caterpillars. It is wonderful to experience the last stage of the butterfly life cycle. We are learning a song to sing to our butterfly friends. As the saying goes “time flies when you are having fun”. This is certainly true for the Montessori class at Crawford Childcare in Glanmire. We are a little over half way through our summer camps. We can hardly believe it. We are enjoying a wide range of outdoor activities which include hula hooping, football, balancing games, parachute games, bubble chases. There could be a footballer or two in the making amongst the class or even a professional hula hooper.
